!!Problem witn HD Sata in Netware 5.0 Install

off the top of my head, this new-ish hardware won't work with netware
5.0. If you have a chance of installing it, you need to be using the
latest SP overlay and not the "SP0" install media. It's been so long
since I've seen a 5.0 server, i couldn't tell you what the latest Sp is
but it's downloadable from novell's website if you're not using it.

if you are and it's not working or you download it and it doesn't work
either, you might want to try a new(er) OS version. 5.0 is pretty mmuch
dead at his point anyways.

We are currently experiencing the same problem with a 5.0 install with a Seagate SATA HD. The Novell install software will not recognize the drive and freezes at the .ham driver. Have you had any luck with your install? I am new to this forum, where would one look for the latest service pack for 5.0. I have tried the updated SATA drivers placing them in a nwupdate directory. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
