Default Problem with trustees on home directories

Hi all,

We have some widespread issues with trustee rights on our user's home directories spread across at least two servers. It sounds like our issue is identical to the problem this gentleman was having:
Trustees not staying

That is, we cannot delete the trustee when we browse to the folder using the full unc path. No errors, but the trustee assignment is never deleted. The user's cannot access their directory even though it appears that the rights are there. I have been having to recreate folders, move files over, and add the rights again. We suspect this is a GUID issue.

Has anyone seen this before? There doesn't really appear to be a resolution in the thread above so I was looking for some more advice.

Thanks!
