Recreate Mirror of SYS volume after disk failure

Problem - SYS volume setup as traditional volume on Netware 5.1 server Drive 1, mirrored to a partition of same size on Drive 2; drive 2 failed, removed drive 2 and replaced - what steps do you take to recreate the mirror without wiping out SYS volume on good drive 1?
I ran NWCONFIG, Standard Disk Options, Mirror/UnMirror disk partitions - can see the Out of sync partition - at a loss at what to do next as this is a live server and obviously do not want to lose SYS volume.
