Default Vista Client does not see tree

I have a staff person with a new computer running Window's Vista. I have installed the Vista Client 1.0. When I try to login the client will not see the tree. I loaded the SP4 patch...still no tree. I loaded the SP5 patch...still no tree. I loaded the SP6 patch...still no tree. I removed the client and installed the original 1.0 version (I have this working on other Vista Machines) ...Still no tree. If I put the server's IP address in the tree box, then I can see the OU and the Server but cannot log in. This is on a Netware 6.5 SP6 server with EDir 8.7.3.9. If I try hard enough, I can get a 0x00008866 error to pop up. I can find no solution to this or answer for the error code on the support website. Anyone have any ideas???
