Default Weird ping thing

Netware 6.5 sp7, TCP 6.81.06, WSPIP 6.23.06, and BX2.lan version 3.41
(although b57 and c1000 do the same thing)

I can communicate just fine with everything.

However, when I ping the network identifier address of the server network
(i.e server address is 192.168.4.1, and I ping 192.168.4.0), I will get
anywhere from 3 to 30 simultaneous responses.

My MS servers, Cisco routers and switches and ASA, and my workstations do
not do this. Only my netware servers. Linux do not do it either.

Just curious if there is something to this that I don't know.

Tom
