Lease time

I am curious about was a good lease time setting is? We have DHCP servers serving 30 workstations and others serving 400 workstations? Currently we have all servers lease times set at 4 days. We are seeing some issues with updating ranges, and updates to DNS.

Currently running on Netware 6.5 sp7.
