I've tried and failed using the techniques which succesfully enable NetStorage on Vista. Even Total Commander with the WebDav plugin (which is the only the workaround with 64-bit processors and Vista) won't work in Windows 7.

Oddly the web client seems to actually works OK- an improvement.
