Driver wont load after Motherboard swap

okay, i upgraded my 3.12 server to a new motherboard. all i did was piece
together a new box with new board, processor, and all. the hd i just moved
from the older server.

Now whenever the server boots up, it starts to load the device driver and
it gives me the following error.

1.1.65 Device # 0 ISA Type 047 (200000100) deactivated by driver due to
failure.

any ideas? (it is a new motherboard, i'm assuming that it's the drivers
for the ide channel but dont know how to approach it)
