Re-intialize
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has run into this before.
I changed an old laser printer (Hp 4100) to a new laser printer (HP 4250N)
that has been connected to an HP Direct Jet. I used the same queue and only
updated the drivers on each workstation. What's been happening is that at
least twice a day the customer has to re-initialize the printer thru Hp
Direct Jet and then the communication is back. Most likely this is a problem
with the new printer and the direct jet but maybe someone come across this
before.
One thought was that maybe it was that the printer goes to sleep and then
the connection is lost or is there something within Novell "print server'.
