I am having the same issue when installing
OES Linux SP1 into our
production tree.
When the '/etc/init.d/novell-tomcat4 start' script runs, it is calling the
command 'su - novlwww -c "/var/opt/novell/tomcat4/bin/dtomcat4 start"'. On
both of my installs, doing an 'su - user' as the root user to a LUM
enabled user prompts me for root's password and then complains that root
is not a LUM enabled user. Root should not be prompted for the password to
change to another user.
I can log into the console as a LUM enabled user.
I have installed another test setup with a Netware 6.5 SP3 server and
seperate tree and an installation of
OES Linux into this tree works
correctly. There seems to be something different about our production tree.
Has anyone else had this issue and found a resolution?
