OES Sp1 EVMS on a DL 380 G4

I am attempting to configure EVMS on a DL 380 G4 so that I can use Novell
NSS volumes on the OES SP1.

I keep getting errors when I attempt to change the boot section to evms.

I get:

Chedcking file systems...
fsck 1.34 (25-Jul-2003)

Failed to open the device '/dev/evms/cciss/c0d0p1': No such file or
directory

Warning... fsck.reiserfs for device /dev/evms/cciss/c0d0p1 exiteed with
signal 6.
fsck.reiserfs /dev/evms/cciss/c0d0p1 failed (staus 0x8). Run manually!

Is there a fix, updated module, or some other suggestion. Novell OES is
supported, but you can't seem to run NSS on HP servers with this setup.
