LUM configuration

Here are the replies I got:

>1. Does this mean the limit for user IDs and group IDs is 65,500 each?

uamPosixUidNumberEnd and uamPosixGidNumberEnd are limited to 2147483648,
because RFC2307 schema defined those as signed.

>2. Are there any negative consequences to increasing the values?

The only limitation is that uamPosixGidNumberDeletedMap and
uamPosixUidNumberDeletedMap keeps track only first 65 k. However this is
only needed if you want to reuse IDs for deleted users, I thing which
would not be recommended with so many users anyway.

>3. Should the values be increased before we start LUM enabling, or can it

You can increase the limit at any time you want

>4. Are there any negative consequences from increasing after some users
>are LUM enabled

No.
