CIFS, Active Directory with OES Linux

Hello,

We currently have a OES sp2 box with NSS vols. Users in the edirectory
have short name accounts but in Active Directory they have long names.

I am running a test, trying to get active directory users to access the
nss vols once they have been CIFS enabled. Would trustee rights be
retained?

How can I achieve this?
