I have two replicas ( root and O )
|
and your whole tree has just two partitions where this server has a replica of each of them ?
You wrote in your first posting here that you ran a ldap search that took 25 seconds.
Did you use a ldap client or just the ldapsearch command ?
In case you use the command line tool, can you post the whole command you used ?
I would like to see the syntax.
Also if possible it would be nice to have the output of "ndsrepair -E" from that server to see the edirectory synchronization information. I want to make sure that this problem is not related to any synchronisation or name resolution problem. Not that when you run the ldap search, this server does not have the full edir information and needs to query another server and has problems to contact that. And as a result it looks like the ldap search is slow.
