eDirectory 8.8 logging to a central syslog

Hi,

I am using the latest and greatest NOWS and I would like to configure eDirectory 8.8 to log to the built-in syslog-ng daemon.

Apparently there is an option in the /etc/opt/novell/eDirectory/conf/nds.conf that you can set to redirect the logging but it does'nt seems to work for me.
n4u.server.log-file=syslog

Even if I restart the rcndsd service, it keeps logging to the previous path...
/var/opt/novell/eDirectory/log/ndsd.log

I also tried to redirect it to another path but with the same result.
n4u.server.log-file=/var/log/ndsd.log

Is this a caching issue ?
