Default After update to 2.6.16.60-0.39.3, OES2 kernel modules break?

I'll be honest, managing a Windows box is starting to get easier at this point.

Ever since I let YaST update the kernel on my SLES 10SP2/OES2 SP1 server to 2.6.16.60-0.39.3-smp, the Novell kernel modules, or at least their associated services, don't load properly anymore. I think, anyways. All I know is NSS mounts no longer function.

Doing some quick digging suggests that NAMCD is not loading up, which precludes novell-nss from loading. I've tried rebooting several times, but I'm short on time to try and fiure out what Novell broke this time with one of their updates.

Suggestions by chance? Can I downgrade back to an older kernel somehow? Is there a new release of the Novell kernel modules that might play nicer with these newer releases?
