dhcpd leases file runs full

Hello Forums

on OES2 - SP1 it seems like there is a bug regarding dhcpd.leases not
releasing ip's soon enough, and we have to delete the file in
/var/lib/dhcp/.....

Any ideas if this is a known bug or a misconfiguration?
