TSM Backup Problem
We are running OES2 SP1 with NSS volumes and using TSM for Backup. We are having problems with directories and files which have german special characters in its name. Anyone has ideas where could be the problem? At first we thought that it might have something to do with language settings so we created a batch file for starting the service that sets environment variables:
export LANG=en_US
export LC_ALL=en_US
export LC_CTYPE=en_US
/opt/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsmcad >/dev/null 2>&1 &
But I still get thousands of errors every night.
The error message in dsmerror.log always says "ANS1304W An active backup version could not be found". Anyone knows exactly what it means?
