Kernel upgrades?

Any chance this maybe has EVMS as root on it?

For a possible suspect of not finding the boot disk/device?

Other thing I've had do that is with our Qlogic cards (I boot from SAN) and I stupidly used the HP drivers because it was the only way HP would support us and their driver put invalid switches for the updated kernel.

After that I stopped using the HP drivers and stuck with the native kernel drivers instead.
