My understanding is that OES 2 SP2 is supposed to port *part* of that functionality over. It should allow you to *CD* to a different server/ncp volume after FTP login is done. But it won't put you in a *home dir* on a different server/ncp volume. You'll still first be placed in a local home dir, according to your linux profile's home dir setting.
