Actually, the DHCP migration can "easily" be done after the server migration. The key is not to delete the old DHCP objects from the tree. At that moment, you can use the command line DHCP migration tool to migrate the old DHCP settings to the new OES2 format. The old server doesn't have to exist for this. Only the objects in eDirectory need to exist. Be sure however that you fully patch your server before using the migration tools for unpatched, they do not work correctly. Also, I suggest you avoid migrating the dynmic leases. In all my migrations I did so far, the migration of the dynamic leases produced garbage. The migration of the static settings hwoever has always worked well for me.
