After I login in SLES10SP2, do not get the X window system.

Hello! I have a SLES10SP2. The unit boots up to the SUSE blue blackground screen; then, I input the root or admin (LUM enabled) username/password, after that, I get a blank or black display. I do not get the X windows system display properly. However, I can boot up in safe mode with no problem. I have checked the inittab and bash files.

Does someone know what file I can check to fix this problem?
