I have a similar thread where I gave the same hint.
If that fixes the problem there as well I will report it to Novell that they can check it.
Please take in mind that when you update this server and a new afp package gets installed, it might replace the runlevel script and you need to do it once again until Novell publishes a package with that fix in.
