SLES10SP2 & OES2SP1 patch upgrade sequence

I have OES2 on SLES10 SP1 now and reading the doc, it says to do it at the same time.

Does this means it must be a offline method like doing a fresh install - put in SLES DVD and select Add On product and insert OES CD?

Otherwise I was thinking of updating SLES to SP2 via the Online Update and a week later do the OES2SP1.

Any comments?
