I figured out what you meant by reading some other threads.

In the Dell Raid mgr., I created 2 virtual disks - one 60gb for system (overkill maybe) and the rest 1.8 will be for NSS. Both off the same 5 phy. disks (raid5).

I have some questions about that, but will ask in new thread.

I'm curious about this also. Are you saying this is done with vendor's array app?

Is there a way to do this on a Dell server? 2970 using PERC6.

Can it be done during the SLES (10) install?
