The NSS read ahead block value set on each volume. Netware sets this to a lower value (typically 2 blocks) than gets set as default on OES2L. Setting the value to 16, 32, 64 or 128 (max) can benefit read performance greatly when moving a Netware NSS volume to OES2L (depending on the type of data stored on the volume and storage used). Groupwise volumes typically perform best with small ra block size (2 or 0).
You can see and set the value using nssmu and looking at each volumes properties.
