Default Upgrade from Netware Cluster

We want to upgrade our Netware servers to OES Linux. We currently have 2 Netware 6.5 servers with Support Pack 8 running in a cluster, with the data on a SAN. The question is what is the path that would be easiest and best supported to upgrade to OES Linux?

Should be break the cluster and build Linux on the secondary server, introduce that into the cluster, then move the cluster over to the Linux server and break the cluster and rebuild the remaining Netware server?

Or do we break the cluster, rebuild the a server with Linux and then Migrate the Netware over to Linux and then rebuild the remaining Netware as Linux and build the cluster?

I'm sure there are many out there that have already addressed this situation. Any suggestions on what would work best and what to watch out for would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

JTT
