Default Re: Creating an Installation Server

Thanks all, yes I had to put the CD1 on and also I wasn't getting a dhcp. Not sure what the internal card was but I had an extra HP card in the box so from the menu I added a couple of HP network drivers and was then able to get my dhcp and continue.

Thank for the help.

I've done this using both OES1 SP2 and openSUSE 11.1 as the network
install host.

Why have a CD1 sub-directory of sles10sp2 if you're copying the DVD?
Just have everything in /lansetup/sles10sp2.

Okay so this is set up correctly.

You need to point at /suse/sles10sp2/CD1 if you use CD1.

If the install CD can see the network card then it should work.
