NetStorage config options blank?

I've had this happen on NetWare occasionally and it seems to exist also
on OES 2 Linux.

You go into iManager and click on the NetStorage link to configure
things.

I can usually dupe this by clicking the authenticatin domains and
verifying that something shows up.

Then click on the "files" link and it'll pop up a login window. Click
Cancel.

From that point on, you will not be able to do anything with configuring
NetStorage via iManager (NetWare or OES2 apparently) until you restart
NetStorage on the server.

Any items you try to configure after that will show blank.

Any idea why? (sometimes you don't even have to click "cancel" on the
login, but that's the only method I can reproduce this 100% of the
time).
