eDir SSL certs in Apache

Hopefully and easy one, but is there a Linux equivalent to the
"SecureListen" directive in Apache-Netware? I'd like to provide an edir
hosted SSL certificate on a web service without having to store files in
the local file-system. On installing OES I see there is a checkbox to
allow eDir to host certificates, but I don't know how that actually works.
