Don't get NetStorage login box

When logging into NetStorage from an external IP, I get the NetStorage main screen, but the login box never appears.

If I VPN into the network, NetStorage works fine. The strange thing is that it works for others from outside the network, just not me. Any suggestions would be welcome.
