Default Re: Cannot login to Novell Remote Manager OES 2 SP1

Peter,

LDAP uses the certificate directly from the edirectory, iManager uses the certificate that is stored on the filesystem of the server. there it must be updated with the one from edirectory manually. That is another thing we might look after we bring lum back. So depending on the imanager plugins you have installed, you might have in the certificate server role a create default certificates. So that for this server and check that only invalid or expired certificates should be recreated. Please note those that were recreated. Once that is done open the details of the ldap server object and see which certificate it has assigned (either SSL CertificateIP or DNS). Then at the server console itself run "/etc/init.d/nldap stop", wait a few seconds and then "/etc/init.d/nldap start". Then the new certificates should be used. Then run the namconfig -k once again and check the logs.

Rainer
