OES 2 NDS in zombie state

I have OES2 Linux server running Edir 8.8 sp2. I am having issues with NDS on this server. NDS seems to become unresponsive.

When users try to login there login script will not run and they get no drive mappings. Also some user are unable to unlock there Workstation.

If I restart the NDS service the problem goes away.

It first happen about a month ago and then about 2weeks and now it has happened the last 2 days.

Has anyone got ant ideas on why this would happen?
