checking the ldap search trace I saw that you searched for the uid attribute. If that resolves to the uniqueid attribute, it can happen that a single user has this attribute twice added. It is a multi value attribute and you can have it more then once at the same user. So use either imanager or consoleone to check in the "others" tab if the uniqueid attribute holds twice the same value.
