Maybe I'm old school but I don't run the gui on my iprint server. Logs and such can be accessed from a client system and printed from it. As far as manuals go all the documentation is located on the Novell support web site. Being an old Netware guy I don't use servers as if they were desktops. My iPrint server runs at init 3 for normal operation. FYI yast works just fine at init 3. The gui just causes extra over head.
