backupexec 12.5 error
Is anyone else using backupexec 12.5 to backup their sles 10sp2/oessp1 servers as an agent?
we are trying for the first time and the jobs error out on a particular directory and it's because not even root has rights to the location.
the location is "opt/novell/nss/mnt/.pools/DATA"
ls -l on this location shows that it is a directory but that no permissins are set.
the Symantec support tech said that we need to give root the ability to read the location but I hesitate to alter what Novell has specified.
any ideas will be very much appreciated.
