Purge and salvage only release the blocks withing nss. I dont believe
that nss issues a delete block to the disk subsystem. It just reallocates
the relevant blocks as available within its FAT.

What I need is to force nss to execute a 'delete' at the scsi level. I
actually want to maintain salvage (all be it for a shortened time)
