Using DST to migrate from NetWare to OES2SP1
I am planning to migrate our file server from NetWare 6.5 SP6 to OES2SP1. I would like to use DST to move the data. I have installed OES2 with all the necessary components to run DST.
I tried ncpmounting my NetWare server to the OES2 server and pointing the Shadow volume to the data volume on the NetWare server. When I did this, the folder structure from the NetWare server replicated itself to the OES2 server. I expected this. What I don't understand is when no trustee rights transferred over. Do I need to actually move the data for the rights to transfer? Is there a good document out there that outlines using DST to migrate data from NetWare to OES2? Thanks.
