Default Hang mounting sys

Hi,

I've been trying to portlock my old NW6.5 box to a vmware server. I tried an online image of the sys volume (which has worked in the past), but it failed.

Now when I try to reboot my physical server it hangs mounting sys.

It says that a clean shutdown was detected, loads system objects, processes the purge log, processes the pool purge log, sets a 'temp' pool to active (this is where the snap was stored during the image), starts NWSA, says it's mounting sys...and that's it.

Very little activity from the disks.

What can I do??? Everything I've tried (-ns, -na, loadstage 1) all try to mount sys automatically.

Cheers,

Iain
