Default Volume not accessible

When trying to navigate directly to VOL1 on one of our netware servers on a windows workstation windows returns the error "\\SERVERNAME\VOL1 is not accessible..." but if you navigate to \\SERVERNAME and then select VOL1 you're able to browse the volume.

I have tried deleting the volume object in eDir and recreating it using nssmu with no luck.

The error is retrned with both NWClient 4.91 SP4 and SP5. The server is running NW 6.5 SP7.
