As I guessed, you are using the Network Address ("networkAddress").

I haven't seen "missing", but then I haven't been looking for it.
I have seen "wrong". That's a known problem. Search the forums here for
"stuck network address" for details; I do not feel like re-typing all of
that right now.

What you see in Novell Remote Manager is coming from the server's
connection table. This is different from the user's Network Address
attribute value(s).

Because eDirectory has not successfully tracked correct values for
Network Address since eDir 85.12. I reported this to Novell Support in
the fall of 2001. Support have sent it to Engineering. Engineering have
not, as of yet, fixed the problems that cause this to happen.

Not a hell of a lot. You can complain to Novell Support; or Sales, if you
have a good sales person. But until Novell Engineering fix the code that
maintains the Network Address attribute so that it does it reliably,
anything that relies on the Network Address attribute is going to be
unreliable.
