NetWare CIFS and Window 2008 AD NTLMv2

From what I can tell Windows 2008 AS requires NTLMv2. Our Windows Administrator is about to upgrade from 2003 AD Native Mode using NTLMv1 to 2008 AD Native Mode using NTLMv2.

We have XP clients not using the novell client to access our Netware servers via CIFS. Does anyone know if this AD and authentication mode change will break NetWare CIFs connections back to the AD servers?
