Can 2 server exists with the same name in a network

That's a thing to *never* do. The server name is the "key" to identify a
server in eDirectory. IF you have multiple servers with the same name and
if by any chance, a server with a same name is seen by a different tree,
then the servers in that different tree might decide to update the address
information for the server using the address of the wrong server leading
to severe eDirectory problems going from communication problems between
servers to issues from clients connecting to the server.
