I am running Backup Exec for Netware 9.2 Revision 1401 on Netware 6.5 Sp6 server. We used to run good backups for a long time without errors and now its like 2 of 3 times a week we get the following error:
End of media reched. Load next media.
If I erase the tape before hand the job will run fine. If I forget to erase the tape its a 50/50 chance it will finish.
I have made sure that I have patched with all the Symantec patches for this product already.
Not sure what started causing this. Could it be that the job is no longer erasing the tape before it starts the backup?
