Expand NSS pool - strange results

Netware 6.5 sp7 servers, clustered, attached to an EMC CX-700. I'm using Powerpath.
I've done this before, but today I'm seeing something strange.
I expanded a metalun from 200gb to 300gb, but now I can't expand the pool.
When I go into NoRM and click on expand pool, the new space doesn't show up.
If I use NSSMU, it looks like the free space "sort of" shows up on the wrong lun.
