Vista Client 1.0 SLOW!!!

I installed the Vista Client 1.0 on my Vista Business. Now I can login to our Novell Server 6.5 SP6 but the login script and the access to to novell drives over the vista explorer is slow (10 time slower then XP)!

Is this ok for the 1.0 client?
