w/s: chinese XP SP3 with latest Novell Client (patched up to date)
server new tree: fully patched OES2SP1-Linux, NSS volume
old tree: netware 6.5
Issue: the client never seems to lose the connection to servers or mapped drives on the old (netware) tree. But, it does seem to lose connectivity to the drives/servers on the new tree. It's consistent behaviour, even after a complete back-end re-install (for other reasons).
Symptoms as follows: After idle time, if I open explorer and click on the drive mapped to
OES volume, then get an error message; if I simply click again or refresh, then the connection seems to get re-established.
Any hints most appreciated
