source server authentication failed - during migrate netware volumes

finally got oes2 beta installed into a temporary tree. Trying to migrate
from a test NW51 server. Selected the Migrate Netware Volumes from YAST -
but can't authenticate to the NW51 server. The NW51 server is running
NLDAP.NLM and ports 389 and 636 are active on the NW51 server.

NW51 Server 172.16.0.18
User Name cn=admin,o=bc3
tried with and without SSL

From a windows machine, I can login to the NW51 server.

What am I doing wrong?
