Well good news, it appears that it was the Firewall that was stopping things from working on our project. We switched the IP address of the OES2 server to an internal network number, switched the cable to an internal switch and started the Transfer ID process again. This time it went through with flying colors. We did have one issue with the certificates and with starting apache but at least the process finished (when we were stuck with this computer we had actually placed replicas onto the server which may have caused more issues but in the end the process is done) Thanks so much for the help in this matter, and I will be better documenting the process for when we try this again in the future. Hopefully no FireWalls :)
