CIFS with 2 NICS
All our servers are Netware 6.5 SP7
We have a number of servers that have 2 nics configured, one for live and one for backups. When CIFS is configured for one of these servers it registers both ip addresses in WINS when we only want the IP address of the live nic to be used for CIFS. I have seen information regarding nfapCIFSAttach but understand this was for earlier versions and is not used any longer. Is there away of stopping CIFS using both ip addresses and just using the live ip address when registering with WINS?
